OPPORTUNITIES FOR
ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS
Brooklyn LAB supports English language learners (ELLs), placing an emphasis on growth, language development, and skills recuperation. We have a tiered system to provide the right interventions and supports for ELLs, we offer English language development programming, and we provide ELLs with language support in English and language arts courses.
At Brooklyn LAB, we open our arms to immigrant families and we proudly celebrate our school community’s diversity.
SCHOLARS
WITH DISABILITIES
We are confident that students with disabilities can achieve at high levels if they receive specialized instruction tailored to their unique needs, supports that build on their strengths and mitigate their challenges, and an environment that is engaging and sparks their desire to learn. Our Scholar Services team works in partnership with school staff and families to ensure each scholar’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) mandate is fulfilled.
